Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Executive to manage and oversee inventory operations for our Lab-Grown Diamond Division. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience in the gems and jewellery industry, with strong expertise in diamond grading, stock management, tracking, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management : Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring real-time updates in ERP / inventory systems.

Stock Audits : Conduct regular physical stock checks, reconciliations, and variance analysis to ensure 100% accuracy.

Quality Verification : Work with the QC team to verify cut, color, clarity, carat, and certification of all diamonds.

Barcode & Tagging : Generate and manage barcodes / tags for diamonds and jewellery items to ensure efficient tracking.

Data Entry & Reporting : Update inventory software with precise stone parameters and generate daily / weekly / monthly reports.

Logistics Coordination : Support inward / outward movement of stock across departments (production, sales, dispatch) and with vendors / clients.

Documentation : Maintain proper documentation – delivery challans, gate passes, transfer notes, certificates.

Loss Prevention : Monitor stock discrepancies, escalate irregularities, and ensure strong inventory controls.

Sales & Dispatch Support : Collaborate with sales and dispatch teams for accurate and timely order fulfilment.

Compliance : Ensure adherence to SOPs, internal controls, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

8–10 years of experience in inventory management (gems & jewellery preferred).

Strong knowledge of lab-grown diamonds and the 4Cs (Cut, Colour, Clarity, Carat).

Proficiency in advanced MS Excel, inventory software, and ERP systems (mandatory).

High integrity and ability to manage high-value inventory responsibly.

Strong communication, coordination, and numeric accuracy skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in jewellery showrooms, diamond trading companies, or manufacturing setups.

Knowledge of diamond certifications (IGI, GIA, etc.) and lifecycle management.

Hands-on experience with RFID / barcoding systems.
