Description
We are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team in Zirakpur. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing a welcoming atmosphere while managing the front desk operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone / email
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail / deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Manage office supplies and inventory, ordering as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and scheduling appointments
Skills and Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role (1-2 years)Familiarity with office equipment, such as printers and fax machinesKnowledge of office management systems and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseProfessional attitude and appearanceSolid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-managementProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant softwareSkills Required
