We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales Enablement team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurugram. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role relies on a strong secondary research / advisory background to facilitate global account management, business development activities, growth planning and monitoring, delivery of client projects and other initiatives in Research vertical
- In this position, the person will work closely with senior stakeholders including Global Client Managers, CXO office, Project / Program Managers and advisory leadership.
- You will be responsible for managing multiple research teams, collaborating with cross-functional partners, providing secondary research, reporting and miscellaneous analytical work to help stakeholders with business insights and decision making
- You will also drive process improvements in the team and leverage technology tools to increase research efficiency and effectiveness across projects
- You should be well versed with AI tools and technologies to be leveraged during automation opportunities as well as project delivery

Lead and manage comprehensive secondary research projects, ensuring the collection, analysis, and synthesis of high-quality data from diverse sources to support strategic business decisionsDevelop and implement innovative research methodologies and frameworks that enhance the depth and accuracy of insights delivered to clients and internal stakeholdersDemonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, guiding the team through complex challenges while maintaining focus on strategic priorities and client objectiveProvide market intelligence services to both internal as well as external stakeholders on topics including (but not limited to) client profilers, industry overview decks, strategic benchmarking, HR-related topics such as DEI, ESG etc.Expert in financial management, quantitative research, market analysis, client profiling etc.Ensure timely delivery of clear, actionable, and impactful research reports and presentations tailored to client needs and organizational goals.Lead and review the work of analysts, managers and senior managers in the teamDrive career progression of team membersStrong client relationship management skills; should be able to liaise with senior stakeholders individuallyShould be able to understand changing business dynamics, adapt and lead the change with exampleWhat you need to have :
12-14 years' overall experience in secondary research / advisory / consulting role in a large professional services organization with at least 6 years in people and project management capacity,Post Graduate degree in finance, business, economics, statistics, mathematics, or similar degree (preference for an analytics-based degree)Qualitative and quantitative analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating with senior executives, clients and staffIntellectual curiosity, seeking opportunities to develop new skills and automate processesSuperior organizational skills and strong attention to detailProven ability in people / team management and project deliveryExceptional analytical skills, good with numbers, critical thinking, and attention to detailsExpert with Microsoft Office, Data Analysis as well as Research-specific tools (Capital IQ, Factiva, Mergermarket, Thomson One etc.); strong inclination for Artificial Intelligence based toolsWhat makes you stand out
