MYP Coordinator

The MYP Coordinator at Sancta Maria International School ( located in GMR Aerocity, Hyderabad, India ) will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Middle Years Programme (MYP) curriculum, ensuring its alignment with the International Baccalaureate (IB) standards, and promoting a culture of inquiry-based and concept-driven learning. The MYP Coordinator will work closely with teachers to support and guide the delivery of a rigorous and engaging educational experience while promoting the principles of international-mindedness and the development of the IB Learner Profile. To be considered for the role, interested candidates must have held similar role(s) in international schools outside their home country. The MYP Coordinator will report to the Head of School.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Curriculum Development and Implementation

• Lead the development, review, and implementation of the MYP curriculum, ensuring alignment with IB standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure the curriculum is inquiry-based, concept-driven, and reflects the global context of the IB framework.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of the curriculum and adapt based on evolving educational needs.

5. Programme Leadership, Strategic Planning and Collaboration
