Role Overview — Food Innovation Officer
As a Food Innovation Officer , you'll be at the core of research, experimentation, and development of new food concepts and wellness-oriented products.
You'll combine science, creativity, and consumer insight to help Kefilo bring differentiated, high-impact food solutions to market.
This role is ideal for a food scientist, technologist, or creative innovator passionate about functional nutrition, product innovation, and health-forward brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, conceptualize, and prototype new functional food products aligned with Kefilo's gut-health and wellness vision.
- Collaborate with nutritionists, chefs, and researchers to develop recipes, formulations, and product lines (e.g., fermented foods, clean-label snacks, probiotic-rich products, etc.).
- Lead ingredient innovation and sourcing — identifying natural, sustainable, and health-enhancing alternatives.
- Work with the R&D and operations teams to ensure scalability, safety, and compliance of new formulations.
- Analyze consumer trends, nutritional data, and market gaps to guide innovation strategy.
- Support pilot launches and testing, collecting feedback to refine products and concepts.
- Partner with the branding and marketing team to translate scientific innovation into clear, relatable consumer stories.
- Document all processes, research findings, and formulation data for internal use and investor readiness.
