Role Overview

As the Café Operations Manager , you'll be responsible for setting up, streamlining, and scaling Kefilo's café model — from kitchen operations and vendor management to customer experience and profitability.

This is a founding-level equity role for someone passionate about food innovation, wellness, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Setup & Management :
• Lead day-to-day café operations including procurement, staff management, and quality control.
• Develop SOPs for kitchen workflows, service standards, and hygiene protocols.
• Menu & Product Coordination :
• Collaborate with the Food Innovation & Nutrition team to execute wellness-driven menu items.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and nutrition standards.
• Vendor & Supply Chain :
• Identify and manage local vendors for ingredients, equipment, and logistics.
• Optimize procurement costs and ensure timely supplies.
• Customer Experience & Growth :
• Oversee café ambiance, customer satisfaction, and feedback systems.
• Plan wellness-based experiences and community events at cafés.
• Expansion & Franchise Planning :
• Assist in developing scalable café models for multiple cities.
• Support financial planning, performance analysis, and investor presentations.
