Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) HCM Consultant with expertise across Compensation & Benefits, Payroll (Technical), Career Development, and Core HR techno-functional domains. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing, supporting, and enhancing Oracle EBS HCM modules to align with business processes and HR strategy. This role requires strong functional knowledge, technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver high-quality HR solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions within Oracle EBS HCM.
- Configure, implement, and support Oracle EBS HCM modules including Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Career Development, and Core HR.
- Develop and maintain payroll technical components such as Fast Formulas, payroll interfaces, custom reports, and extensions.
- Provide techno-functional support for Core HR processes including employee data management, position control, approvals, and workflows.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, defects, and performance issues in Oracle HCM modules.
- Create functional and technical documentation including BRDs, MD50s, test scripts, and user guides.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and new releases with regression testing and impact analysis.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, statutory requirements, and data security standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Finance, Payroll) to deliver integrated HCM solutions.
- Train HR users and provide post-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption of Oracle HCM functionalities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
6+ years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite HCM modules.Strong hands-on expertise in at least two or more of the following areas :Compensation & Benefits – design, configuration, salary / bonus processes, benefits administration.Payroll Technical – Fast Formulas, Payroll APIs, payroll runs, costing, retro-pay, and interfaces.Career Development – employee appraisals, succession planning, talent management within EBS.Core HR Techno-Functional – HRMS configuration, data migrations, workflows, reporting, and personalization.Proficiency in SQL, PL / SQL, BI Publisher, and Oracle Reports.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to debug functional and technical issues.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience with integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems.Knowledge of statutory compliance and payroll regulations is a plus.
