Senior Technology Engineer - Oracle Database

We are looking for a Senior Technology Engineer – Oracle Database to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation. This role requires hands-on experience in managing complex database environments, ensuring high availability, and driving best practices for scalability and security.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Oracle databases (versions 11g / 12c / 19c).
• Perform database upgrades, migrations, backup, recovery, and patch management.
• Monitor database performance and tune SQL queries, indexes, and overall database health.
• Implement and maintain high availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate).
• Ensure security, compliance, and data integrity in accordance with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database usage.
• Automate routine DBA tasks using shell scripting, PL / SQL, or other tools.
• Provide on-call support and troubleshoot critical production issues.
• Document database processes, standards, and guidelines.
