ETL Developer Informatica

Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer with 57 years of hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex ETL workflows to support enterprise data integration and analytics. The role requires solid expertise in Unix, databases, and cloud environments (AWS), with additional exposure to scheduling tools like Tidal and TWS being a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Implement and optimize Informatica Cloud (IICS) pipelines for cloud-based integration scenarios.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple heterogeneous data sources.
- Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned scripts.
- Manage data quality, validation, reconciliation, and error handling within ETL processes.
- Automate and schedule ETL workflows using Tidal, TWS, or equivalent scheduling tools.
- Collaborate with data architects, BI teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL jobs in Unix / Linux environments.
- Work with AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, RDS, EC2, Lambda) to support cloud-based ETL and data pipelines.
- Ensure data governance, compliance, and security standards are followed.
Required Skills :
5 - 7 years of ETL development experience with strong expertise in :Informatica PowerCenter (mappings, transformations, workflows).Informatica Cloud (IICS) application integration and data integration.Strong Unix / Linux scripting skills for automation and job control.Proficiency in SQL, PL / SQL, and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).Good understanding of ETL performance tuning and optimization techniques.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, star schema, and dimensional modeling.Good to Have :
Exposure to AWS cloud services (S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue, etc.).Experience with job scheduling tools like Tidal or TWS.Knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI / CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.(ref : hirist.tech)
