About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled ETL Developer / Sr. Developer to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting business intelligence and analytics initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability across ETL workflows.
  • Implement best practices for data quality, validation, and error handling.
  • Collaborate with BI and Analytics teams to deliver accurate, timely, and meaningful datasets.
  • Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning as required.
  • Document data processes, flows, and technical specifications for long-term maintainability.
  • Mentor junior team members (for Sr. Developer role) and contribute to setting coding and design standards.

Key Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 36 years of ETL development experience (68 years for Sr. Developer).
  • Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake) is a strong plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    • Good to Have :

  • Experience with Python / Scala / Java for data transformation scripting.
  • Exposure to big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Knowledge of CI / CD practices for data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and security standards.
