Description
The Senior Proposal Specialist will play a crucial role in the development and submission of high-quality proposals that meet client requirements. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent writing skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to secure new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for proposal development.
- Conduct thorough research on potential clients and industry trends to tailor proposals effectively.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards in all proposal submissions.
- Manage proposal timelines and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
- Review and edit proposals for clarity, grammar, and presentation before submission.
- Develop and maintain a repository of proposal templates, best practices, and lessons learned.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.6-9 years of experience in proposal development, business development, or a related field.Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management software.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively.Strong analytical and research skills to understand client needs and industry landscapes.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders.Skills Required
