Job Description

Job Summary :

Responsible for maintaining Maintenance metrics in his area as mentioned in LSW in line with AOP. Equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, Maintenance Cost and Kaizen in line with AOP. Look constantly for new technology ideas / suggestion / upgrades which can improve performance of the function. Also support in GEM, HSE and Quality systems and processes in the team

Roles And Responsibilities

# Responsible to maintain and overdrive Equipment Availability, MTBF & MTTR as per LSW goals assigned.

# Support to drive RCA for repeat issues and major issues impacting deliverables with ICA and PCA

# Support and participate in NPI activities in his area. Make sure all open points are addressed before taking production handover from NPI.

# Responsible for the identifying and planning training of technicians on the new technologies

# Responsible for adherence to all the safety and environmental rules in his own area

# Ensures continuous improvement in his area by using Kaizen, RCA and Gemba.

# Responsible to execute risk assessment and define actions

# Drive the Escalation Process and quick problem resolution

#Committed to Garrett HSE policies and follow procedures of safety elements.

Skills And Knowledge Required

# Complete know how of maintenance system, preventive / predictive maintenance, Safety standards to be followed in maintenance,

# Excellent hands on knowledge about Siemens PLC (S7 - 300, 1200, 1500) programming and troubleshooting.

# Expertise in Siemens Sinamics, V90, Simotion D drives.

# Expertise in Vision systems Cognex and Keyence.

# Good hands on expertise to understand and troubleshoot issues in Fanuc CNC (0i, 18i, 30i series)

# Maintenance, Troubleshooting and teaching of Fanuc and Staubli Robot.

# Sensors, BOSCH Screwdrivers, Leak testing units, Engraving units, Tightening tools, Scanners, Printers , Replacement of AC & DC Servodrives, VFD's, Siemens S7-300,400 PLC program editing, modification, conversant to Simodrive, Simocom softwares ,Pneumatics-FESTO, SMC, Norgren,

# Green Belt Certified (preferred)

# Good man management skills, people friendly, acceptable to all

# Excellent leadership skills with experience of managing people

# Excellent verbal & written communication skills

# Good interpersonal skills with the ability to gain cooperation & commitment from peers, superiors and repartees

# Global mindset should always focus on final customer requirements and always drive in this direction

# Excellent knowledge of HS & E system requirements

Experience And Education Required

Qualification : BE / Diploma Electrical

Experience : 4-5 years of experience in Maintenance in a similar role having automotive, mass production background

# Experience in leading team of shift technicians
