Job Description

- Responsible for maturing solutions or technology towards introduction in motors area with a mid-term (1-2 years) to long-term (>
2 years) time plan
Responsible for deriving and realizing thermic conceptsOverall responsibility of components and assemblies from a constructive point of view (design) guarantee of a functionality, ready for production, assembly meet, meeting timeline and meeting the target costing.Main contact person for design and development topics internally (eMotors) / external (Supplier) for the respective component / assemblyRelease of work products (Materials, Norms, Production instructions and Drawings)Supplier management at a technical levelFMEA of the assembly / product.Qualifications
B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engg.(IITs / NITs)

Clarification of constructive and technical questions internally / external (interface to the internal / external customer, suppliers, process development, production line, sample shop)Faimiliar with 3D-modeling and 2D-drawing creation in TcE and NX including SAP-documentation and creating of PRV, FHW, assembly Instructions on component- / assembly-levelKeeping the milestones of the schedule plan on component- / assembly-levelCoordination and Execution of the component testing with the lead-designer and the validation teamProduct development acc. PECollaboration in Basic ISEC teams (Simultaneous Engineering), project teamDevelopment of validation plans in close cooperation with trial and applicationCooperation in the development of assembly and manufacturing processesAssignment of analytical calculations e.g. : FEM-simulations (hardness, EMAG-influences, number of rotations, temperature) on component- / assembly-levelParticipation and responsibility in the project for FMEA, DFMA, DRBFM, Focus area matrix, list of special characteristics, FHW, PRV on component- / assembly-levelSupport procurement of components (sample parts)Derive special components (for telemetry and thermal machines)Complete document set of the component / assembly to be prepared for the ordering of samples and product release.
