Role Description
This full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef - Western / Continental is based in Bengaluru at the Radisson Blu Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. The Sous Chef will oversee the kitchen's daily operations, particularly focusing on Western and Continental cuisines. Responsibilities include planning menus, managing kitchen staff, monitoring food preparation quality, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety guidelines, and maintaining inventory levels. The Sous Chef will also collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative dishes and enhance the culinary experience for guests.
Qualifications
Expertise in Western and Continental cuisine with strong culinary skills in food preparation and presentation
Experience in kitchen operations management, including staff supervision, inventory control, and cost management
Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and quality standards in the foodservice industry
Proficiency in menu planning and the ability to innovate with new recipes
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
Relevant culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution
Previous experience in a high-volume, upscale hotel or fine dining establishment is an advantage
