Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef specializing in South Indian Cuisine, located in Bengaluru. The Sous Chef will assist in managing daily kitchen activities, including menu creation, food preparation, and quality control with a focus on South Indian dishes. Other responsibilities include training junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards, overseeing inventory management, and collaborating with the culinary team to maintain high standards of food presentation and taste.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in South Indian Cuisine, along with menu creation and food presentation skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with experience in quality control
  • Team management and training abilities to guide junior kitchen staff
  • Inventory management and procurement skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Culinary certification or a degree in Culinary Arts or a related field
  • Prior experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-quality, hospitality-focused establishment
