Vision Systems Engineer (Lead) Location : Panvel, Maharashtra (On-site)
Company : Stardust CPS Pvt. Ltd.
Experience : 4–8 years in machine vision or industrial imaging systems
About Stardust CPS At Stardust CPS, we design and manufacture high-speed banknote inspection and authentication systems for central banks and financial institutions.
Our machines combine optics, embedded control, FPGA processing, and vision intelligence to inspect and sort every banknote with precision and speed. We’ve completed our first-generation platform with our technology partners and are now building an in-house innovation team to take it further.
This team will be responsible not only for refining current systems but also for developing next-generation inspection technologies using newer cameras, lighting systems, frame grabbers, and AI-driven analytics.
About the Role As the Vision Systems Engineer (Lead), you’ll be at the center of Stardust CPS’s imaging and algorithmic development. You’ll lead the design, development, and optimization of image-processing pipelines from camera calibration to defect classification ensuring our machines stay at the forefront of secure currency inspection.
You will also spearhead R&D for new vision architectures, experimenting with next-generation hardware, AI-based defect detection, and advanced imaging methods that redefine how inspection systems see and think.
