We are part of the Business Line Engineering and Design Centre (EDC), collaborating closely with other COWI offices outside India in Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Singapore and North America. By joining the team, you will become part of over 100 skilled geotechnical and underground engineering professionals in COWI. As a geotechnical team member, you will work in close collaboration with specialists elsewhere in COWI to deliver projects globally.

TURN CHALLENGES INTO SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS

As a senior Rock Mechanics Specialist in the Geotechnical Section, you will provide skilled technical guidance and leadership in rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering for complex infrastructure projects. Your role will involve conducting advanced analyses, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring the effective implementation of geotechnical designs. You will :

• Oversee the domain of rock mechanics within the business unit
• Act as subject matter expert internally as well as externally promoting COWI
• Define best practices (i.e. professional standards, technical delivery approach, knowledge sharing)
• Evaluate the skills and resources required to maintain capable project teams
• Develop innovative solutions on complex matters
• Mentor and develop less experienced staff
