About the Role :
The Division of the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery has accountability for the following functions :
The Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Unit supports the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery and aligns with the responsibilities detailed in the ACT Public Sector Nursing and Midwifery Enterprise Agreement 2023–2026 and various ACT Health strategies.
The position works closely with CHS team managers to manage and progress workforce and recruitment needs, including compliance checking. The recruitment lead supports many aspects of this unit, including but not limited to inbox and phone line management, liaising with managers and candidates, managing recruitment outcomes and administrative functions of the unit.
