PFB Job Description

As a Support Engineer you will strengthen our IT service in operating Business applications in System Engineering domain. About 500 Knorr-Bremse employees use the CAE application Engineering Base to create system drawings and documentations for Rail systems. The application is closely connected to our PLM backbone Windchill. As a member of the IT service team you will administrate operate and support Engineering Base and its PLM interface analyze user issues perform data analysis and maintenance.

Mandatory Keywords

Focus on CAD Applications and integration in PLM.

Preferred CAD Apps : PTC Creo AutoCAD (BricsCAD) Siemens EDA (formerly Mentor Graphics) or Engineering Base

Preferred PLM : PTC Windchill

PLM / CAD competencies

• Expertise (minimum 3 years) in PLM processes methods and tools preferred : Windchill
• Extended expertise in 2D CAD / ECAD / CAE tools
• Focus on related administrative processes e.g. Client / Server installation and administration troubleshooting Business administration User access and roles management
