You are naturally a strategic and analytic thinker who thrives on technology advancements and process improvements. Driving efficiency through continuous improvement efforts within our Distribution & Wholesale product group in support of our Business to Business (B2B) business partners sounds like a dream, and you’re ready to jump in. Your expertise in Wholesale sales and technology allows you to initiate and manage ERP system enhancements including the gathering of requirements, testing and implementation of simple solutions to complex problems. At the same time, you thrive while troubleshooting, providing end-user support to all levels of stakeholders in a business-critical, fast-moving environment. You get the Dr. Martens brand and are excited to support the team in enhancing Dr. Martens’ footprint in the Americas region.
THE GIG :
- Pro-actively participate in the Distribution & Wholesale product group adhering to the Agile methodology to facilitate continuous improvements.
- Identify, analyze and document business processes and technical requirements (solution design, configuration, security, etc.).
- Ensure that new solutions are clearly documented and that Subject Matter Experts are adequately trained.
- Regularly liaise with business stakeholders during 90-day sprint planning sessions and project implementations.
- Troubleshoot and provide end-user support for BAU (business as usual) issues.
- Communicate regularly with business partners and team members in multiple time-zones.
- Work closely with internal and external development teams on application design changes and issues.
- Adhere to a strict change control policy for all application developments and configurations.
- Lead QA efforts by designing and executing regression tests in support of system upgrades and enhancements.
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART :
Bachelor’s degree in IT or comparable experience required.3+ years of experience required.Experience in Distribution and Wholesale sales required.Experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst in the retail industry preferred.Experience gathering business requirements and delivering technical business solutions.Experience working via the Agile methodology preferred.Hands on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications and related integrations.Proven ability to learn and test new business application functionalities.Ability to analyze complex processes and data sets in order to support and troubleshoot system issues.Excellent ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally, including business documentation, such as business process documents, technical specifications and training documents, with both technical and non-technical teams.Proven ability to manage business change initiatives within a large organization.Experience in end-to-end global operations within a fashion brand preferred.Experience in Microsoft technologies including Dynamics AX / 365FO and Office 365 preferred.Experience as a business analyst having previously worked on a large-scale project.Logical thinker with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.We live and breathe Rebellious Self Expression at Dr. Martens, and there are 3 core values at the heart of it.
