Operational Technology (OT) Security

Role & responsibilities

Improvement of Organization's Information security posture, reducing possibilities of Cyber attacks on wind farms & its infrastructure resulting in financial & operations losses. Building trust from customers & making organization compliant towards regulator avoiding penalties.

Cyber attacks can damage reputation of Organization & data can be misused against organization. Making organization cyber resilient is one of key objective.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Security Strategy and Policy : Develop, implement, and maintain OT security policies, standards, and procedures to protect critical infrastructure and operations.

2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation : Conduct regular risk assessments of OT systems and networks, identify vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate security controls and countermeasures.

3. Security Monitoring and Incident Response : Monitor OT systems for security threats and incidents, respond to security breaches, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

4. Compliance and Audits : Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443) and conduct regular security audits.

5. Incident Management

6. Training and Awareness : Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a strong security culture.

7. Vendor Management : Manage relationships with OT security vendors and ensure that their products and services meet security requirements.

Relevant Experience

• 7+ years of experience in OT security management, with a strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience assessing against standards and frameworks including one or more of the following : IEC-62243 / ISA-99, NIST CSF, NERC CIP, etc.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, GICSP, GRID, GCIP, etc.).
