Job descriptionProvide legal support for M&A transactions including due diligence, structuring, negotiations, and closure. Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents such as Share Purchase Agreements (SPA), Shareholders Agreements (SHA), Business Transfer Agreements (BTA), and related contracts. Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessments for proposed deals. Liaise with external counsels, advisors, and regulators for deal approvals and compliance requirements. Ensure adherence to corporate, securities, and competition laws in all transactions. Advise management on legal risks, rights, and obligations related to proposed deals. Support post-transaction integration and compliance activities. Stay updated with latest legal and regulatory developments affecting M&A transactions. Law graduate (LLB / LLM preferred) with valid license to practice law. 2 4 years of experience in M&A deal support at a law firm or in-house legal team. Strong knowledge of corporate laws, contract laws, SEBI, FEMA, and competition regulations. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
