We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished academic to join our faculty team at the Assistant / Associate Professor level in Sports Sciences & Management. The role demands a blend of research-driven expertise, industry insights, and innovative teaching practices to advance the Academy’s vision of becoming a global leader in sports education.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Curriculum Development
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality courses in Sports Sciences, Sports Management, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Sports Analytics, Sports Technology, Performance Management, and related areas.
- Develop interdisciplinary modules integrating sports sciences with business, psychology, data science, and technology.
- Supervise undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students in their academic and research projects.
- Continuously update curriculum to align with international best practices, industry demands, and emerging technologies in sports.
Research & Knowledge Creation
Conduct cutting-edge research in Sports Sciences, Sports Management, Sports Analytics, Performance Science, or related domains.Publish in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, contribute to conferences, and engage in collaborative research projects.Develop funded research proposals to attract grants from national and international funding agencies.Mentor students and junior researchers to create a strong research culture within the Academy.Industry Engagement & Outreach
Build strong linkages with the sports industry, federations, academies, and governing bodies.Lead consulting projects, executive education programs, and applied research initiatives in sports sciences and management.Engage with athletes, coaches, and sports entrepreneurs to translate academic knowledge into real-world impact.Represent Woxsen Sports Academy at global conferences, symposiums, and academic networks.Institutional Development
Contribute to the growth of the Woxsen Sports Academy by initiating new programs, labs, and collaborations.Mentor students in career development, entrepreneurship, and innovation in the sports sector.Participate actively in committees, accreditation processes, and institutional strategic initiatives.Qualifications & Requirements
Essential :
Ph.D. in Sports Sciences, Sports Management, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Sports Technology, or a closely related discipline.Strong record of research publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals.Demonstrated teaching excellence at undergraduate and / or postgraduate levels.Experience in supervising student research projects.Desirable :
International teaching / research experience.Industry experience in sports sciences, management, or allied fields.Experience in interdisciplinary teaching / research (e.g., sports analytics, AI in sports, psychology of performance).Evidence of funded research projects and / or consultancy.Involvement with international sports bodies, federations, or professional associations.
