Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Faculty member for the Foundation Program at the School of Arts and Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring first-year design students, building their core creative skills and foundational understanding of design.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Design or Fine Arts (specialization in Foundation-level subjects is a must)
- Strong academic and / or professional background in the following subjects :
- Drawing & Sketching
- Fundamentals of Design
- Material Exploration
- Photography
- History of Design
- Color Fundamentals
- Proven ability to engage with diverse student groups and foster a strong learning environment
- Comfortable working in a multicultural and collaborative academic setting
Experience :
Assistant Professor : 2–5 years of teaching / professional experienceAssociate Professor : 5–8 years of teaching / professional experienceProfessor : 10+ years of teaching / professional experience with a strong academic or research backgroundDesirable Skills :
Ability to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into foundation-level teachingHands-on expertise with a variety of materials and creative mediaProficiency in both traditional and digital tools for teaching designStrong mentoring and student engagement skillsInterest in research and contribution to the academic growth of foundation studiesApplication :
