About the Role :

The Manager, Software Engineering leads the build-out, development, and management of a team of developers responsible for creating and maintaining systems, platforms, and tools that support T-Mobile's internal and external business needs. This role is critical in delivering scalable software solutions, building technical strategy, and collaborating closely with product and IT partners. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who can coach a high-performing team, drive platform improvements, and deliver complex analytics or BI solutions.

What You'll Do :

• Lead and manage a team of developers by setting direction, providing coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
• Ensure project deliverables meet deadlines, quality, and budget requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement across development practices, tooling, processes, and security / compliance adherence.
• Manage technical relationships with vendors, influence roadmap discussions, and advocate for key platform features.
• Hire and onboard new talent, improve team productivity, and scale the engineering capabilities as needed.
• Deliver business intelligence and analytics solutions by guiding the technical architecture and data workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IT partners across multiple ongoing projects.
• Support strategic initiatives, and ensure long-term platform stability and adaptability.
