As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Connected Commerce / Payments group, you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team's work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide overall direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers that work on basic to moderately complex tasks
• Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Ensures successful collaboration across teams and stakeholders
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Provides input to leadership regarding budget, approach, and technical considerations to improve operational efficiencies and functionality for the team
