Job descriptionEstablish a feedback loop for products from internal users (Support / Implementation), and clients when applicableDevelop product roadmap based on information from product owners, sales, and customer needsWork closely with the engineering team / product owners and manage the product backlogBuild and manage process to determine a scoring system for product feature prioritizationPrioritize the product backlog based on scoring, sprint velocity, and story developmentEnsure that the technical team is fully aware of the product backlog and the activities to work onWork closely with the shared and dedicated resources to develop the user stories for each item in the backlog, prepare proper release notes for each item that is included in the release and publish it appropriatelyCheck in regularly with the development team to understand any open questions on the features and coordinate with the engineering team / product owners and Solution / Technical architects for solutionsResponsible for the creation of product documentation and training content using AI tools.Provide direction to developers to improve the work output as it relates to product release, implementation, training, and documentation.Track product certification requirements and status; coordinate with partner POCs as necessary.Conduct product demonstrations for coworkers, partners, and clientsCoordinate and contribute to product Marketing activities including product collateral, promotional videos and webinarsServe as a thought leader, staying abreast of trends in the support and SaaS industry, and prepares the department to scale in the face of company growthProven ability to work pragmatically with a problem-solving attitudeExcellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate and influence directionUses judgment to determine optimal solution and seeks guidance on complex problems / situationsUnderstands product development and ensures department’s adherence to the sameFollows and passionately promotes quality best practices throughout the full cycle of the projectBuilds business trust in engineering – driving quality deliveryHas clear understanding of various (SDLC & SCRUM etc.) development modelsBachelor or master’s degree in computer science or equivalentExperience in IT product / project management – full life cycle6+ years of experience across multiple roles (BA / Dev / QA / PM) in IT industrySignificant client facing experienceExperience with geographically distributed teamsProficient in verbal & written communicationsBachelor’s / Master’s degree, bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant specialization or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.Certified Scrum MasterCertification in Product Development or ManagementExperience in managing teams across multiple time zonesGood knowledge of tools like JIRA, JSM, etc.
