Position Summary :
The Director – Operations is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving operational
excellence, building and empowering high-performance teams, and fostering an ecosystem of
accountability and innovation. This role demands a seasoned leader with a proven track
record of managing complex operations, delivering results, and strengthening both internal
systems and external relationships. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a master of
execution, and an exceptional communicator capable of inspiring trust and engagement
across diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Excellence :
- Lead ISC's operational strategy with a relentless focus on efficiency, scalability, and
quality outcomes.
Design, implement, and continuously refine processes, workflows, and systems toenhance program delivery and organizational performance.
Ensure the highest standards of governance, compliance, and risk management whilebuilding resilient operational frameworks.
Drive data-informed decision-making by implementing robust monitoring, evaluation,and reporting systems.
Champion innovation and best practices in field operations, logistics, resourcemanagement, and cost optimization.
Establish a culture of excellence, discipline, and results-driven execution across theorganization. Strong and Proven Leadership :
Build, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams with a focus on accountability,ownership, and continuous learning.
Inspire and motivate teams by setting clear expectations, offering constructivefeedback, and recognizing high performance.
Cultivate leadership at all levels by identifying and nurturing internal talent andpromoting a culture of empowerment.

Fundraising Innovation and Partnership Retention :
Spearhead efforts to diversify funding streams through grants, CSR partnerships, andstrategic donor engagements.
Develop and implement forward-thinking fundraising strategies that enhance ISC'ssustainability and mission alignment.
Proactively explore new opportunities while ensuring stewardship and deepeningrelationships with existing donors and partners.
Lead assessments and benchmarking exercises to continually enhance fundraisingapproaches and outcomes.
CSR Communications and External Relations :
Serve as the face of ISC in corporate and philanthropic circles, communicatingimpact, needs, and opportunities with credibility and passion.
Develop and lead structured communication plans for CSR engagement, donorreporting, social media, newsletters, and impact storytelling.
Ensure transparency and clarity in reporting by designing frameworks for data-drivencommunication and effective stakeholder engagement.
Align ISC's messaging with its mission and values while strengthening brandreputation and thought leadership.
Internal Communications and Culture Building :
Establish transparent communication channels that foster collaboration, alignment,and trust across teams.
Champion organizational values of integrity, empathy, and inclusion, ensuring thatevery team member feels heard and supported.
Lead internal forums for knowledge sharing, performance reviews, and cross-learning.
Drive initiatives that enhance organizational morale, professional growth, andemployee wellbeing.
Accountability and Compliance :
Develop clear accountability structures with measurable performance indicatorsacross departments.
Lead internal audits, process reviews, and compliance checks to ensure regulatory anddonor requirements are met with integrity.
Promote ethical practices and safeguard policies to protect both beneficiaries andteam members.
Key Skills and Qualifications :
10+ years of leadership experience in operations within non-profit, development, orCSR sectors.
Demonstrated ability to scale operations, manage large teams, and implementcomplex processes with precision.
Proven track record of fundraising success, donor relationship management, andpartnership development.
Strong business acumen with an eye for cost control, process improvement, andresource optimization.
Exceptional communicator—both written and verbal—with experience in stakeholderengagement, reporting, and public representation.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of driving systemic change with agility andresilience.
Experience managing multi-location teams and aligning cross-functional objectiveswith organizational strategy.
Passionate about creating an environment of trust, accountability, and impact.Preferred Attributes :
Experience leading CSR initiatives and managing corporate partnerships at scale.Familiarity with donor reporting requirements, compliance audits, and governanceframeworks.
Expertise in digital tools for communication, CRM, reporting, and fundraising.Ability to translate data into compelling narratives that drive engagement and action.Skills Required
