Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Principal Azure DevOps Engineer with 12+ years of experience to join our team in Pune. This is a critical, onsite role responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery pipelines within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in AKS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and advanced automation techniques to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for containerization, architecting and managing highly available and scalable applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Design, implement, and maintain robust, end-to-end CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans) to automate build, testing, and release processes for complex applications.
• Drive the adoption and utilization of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), proficiently using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for the automated, repeatable provisioning and configuration of Azure resources.
• Implement and manage containerization solutions utilizing Docker and applying best practices for image creation, registry management (ACR), and deployment into Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Azure services, including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, to ensure application health and performance.
• Develop and maintain complex automation scripts using advanced skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline operational tasks, provisioning, and self-service capabilities.
• Implement and enforce security best practices within Azure, including configuring Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), implementing secrets management (Azure Key Vault), and ensuring compliance across the environment.
• Champion and enforce effective Git-based version control workflows and branching strategies to ensure collaborative, auditable, and traceable development efforts.
