Job description

Major accountabilities :

Build and Deploy Storage solutions.
Effective delivery and service operations of Storage Platforms
Ensure best-in-class support for compute platform technologies across the company not only in the IT infrastructure area, but also providing services and solutions to all application teams onboarding and leveraging these technologies.
Follow established standardized design and development processes to enable cost effective delivery. Over-see the operational health, management, security, lifecycle, and reliability.
Responsible for the 24x7 operational oversight and direction to both external technical and engineering teams.
Support and ensure compliance to defined IT Governance controls, standards, and practices.

Key performance indicators :

Stable, compliant, secure and cost-effective operations measured by Availability, Performance, Capacity Metrics along with continuous cost reductions YOY

Services are managed within SLA / OLA KPIs

Learning Agility, Ability to evaluate and launch new services & capabilities

Productivity gains and defect reduction through continuous improvement

Process and compliance setup is applied and adhered

Minimum Requirements :

Work Experience :

10+ years of experience in working with storage technologies of a major global brand, preferably NetApp, leveraging all storage technologies (block., file, object)

Knowledge about SAN Storage - Implementation, Management and administration of IBM SVC and Flash Arrays and Brocade SAN switches.

Implementation of Disaster Recovery plans, including Metro and Global Mirroring on SVC and Snap Mirror replication

Experience with hyper converged infrastructure platforms

Experience in both on-prem and cloud deployment of storage solutions. Experience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Experience in Service Management or Engineering of a global service portfolio in similar areas as above, across geographies and business areas.

Track record in delivering on time, quality and budget.
