About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Email Marketing Coder with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and deploying high-quality email campaigns across various platforms. You will collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and technical teams to ensure optimal design implementation, functionality, and performance. Your technical expertise will directly enhance the impact of our email marketing initiatives and contribute to our overall digital success.
Key Responsibilities
- Email Coding & Development : Develop and hand-code responsive HTML email templates from design mockups, ensuring compatibility across all major email clients and devices.
- Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting : Conduct thorough QA testing using tools such as Litmus , EmailOnAcid , or similar platforms to identify and fix rendering or deliverability issues.
- Link Tracking : Create and implement tracking codes (UTMs) for all email links to ensure accurate performance tracking and reporting.
- Campaign Deployment : Manage and execute campaign deployment schedules, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance for every send.
- Collaboration : Partner with marketing leads to define project scopes, identify optimization opportunities, and drive improvements in email marketing strategy.
- Compliance & Best Practices : Ensure all email communications adhere to industry best practices for design, accessibility, deliverability, and user engagement.
Requirements
Experience : 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) , Klaviyo , Braze , Attentive , or similar ESPs.Technical Expertise : Strong proficiency in HTML , CSS , SQL , and scripting languages such as AMPscript or Jinja . Experience hand-coding responsive emails is essential.Email Marketing Knowledge : 3–5 years of experience in email production and campaign execution on large-scale enterprise platforms.Project Management : Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Analytical Skills : Ability to identify rendering, performance, and deliverability issues, and implement data-driven optimizations.Organizational Skills : Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple campaigns with minimal supervision.Skills Required
