Mine Surveyor – Underground Mining
Location : WA – Residential (Kalgoorlie / Goldfields region)
Roster : 8 : 6 (12-hour shifts)
Type : Permanent, Residential
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced or up-and-coming Mine Surveyor to join a dynamic underground mining operation in the Goldfields region. Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, you’ll be part of a growing technical services team, contributing to production success and supporting the development of graduates and students.
Key Responsibilities
Set out and mark up production drill plans in line with drill schedules.
Perform end-of-month processes for development and stope reconciliation.
Conduct LiDAR drone scans and CALS scans of stopes and historical areas.
Carry out diamond drilling set-outs and collar pickups for grade control and reserve definition drilling programs.
Collaborate with mining engineers and operational supervisors to align survey priorities with production needs.
Mentor and train graduates and student surveyors in underground surveying standards.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in underground mine surveying.
Eligible to obtain a Mine Surveyor’s Certificate Grade 1 .
Proficiency with Deswik software and Leica instruments .
Residential role – must live in, or be willing to relocate to, the Goldfields region.
Current WA “C” Class driver’s licence.
