Job Title : Firewall Governance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Tufin tool upgrades, patches, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Oversee Tufin hardware end-of-life (EOL) management and infrastructure upkeep.
• Monitor and troubleshoot firewall configurations and related issues.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and actual DR situations.
• Govern firewall change requests, assisting on-prem teams with approvals based on risk reviews.
• Conduct periodic reviews of implemented changes (weekly sample checks against ServiceNow requests).
• Drive firewall configuration reviews and annual rule recertification activities .
• Perform rule usage-based reviews to identify unused or redundant rules.
• Review and address high-risk firewall rules .
• Ensure daily snapshots / backups of all firewalls and devices, and oversee automated backup tasks.
