Senior Fund Manager - Equities

We are seeking an experienced

Fund Manager with a strong background in equities for a Life Insurance

company, to lead the management and optimization of investment portfolios. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, aligning fund strategies with business objectives, and delivering sustainable returns to policyholders and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Working closely with the Head of Equities, as well as Analysts, on the formulation and implementation of investment strategy, model portfolios, etc.

Performing day-to-day duties of a portfolio manager, with respect to deployment of investor monies, monitoring portfolios, executing changes in portfolios, etc.

Ensure regular monitoring of portfolio and compliance with (a) IRDA regulations (b) Internal investment management guidelines

Issuing communications to both internal as well as external teams from time to time

Tracking various sectors, attending conference calls and face to face meetings with corporates

Qualifications :

More than 10 years in Indian Capital Markets in an institutional role out of which 3 years should be fund management experience

Relevant experience in fund management, financial markets and Equity Research is required

The individual should be an independent thinker with the ability to work in teams.

Should have demonstrated the ability to take independent investment decisions

Should have worked in areas such as new fund launches, presentations to senior management, Board Investment Committee etc.

Should have a strong grip on the regulatory requirements in the Insurance sector

Should be comfortable with ambiguity
