APS6 Case Manager

Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced APS6 Case Manager to support the prescription medicines registration process. This role is ideal for someone with a background in regulatory affairs, health policy, or scientific evaluation, and who thrives in a stakeholder-focused, fast-paced environment.

Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
4-month contract with 6-month extension option
Australian Citizens only

Key Responsibilities

Apply technical knowledge to manage applications from acceptance to final decision

Proactively manage external stakeholder expectations throughout the review process

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to anticipate and resolve complex issues

Contribute to strategic planning and business improvement initiatives

Support broader organisational goals by undertaking additional tasks as required

Maintain professionalism and courtesy while representing the Department

Participate in performance discussions as directed

Ideal Candidate Profile

Prior APS experience, ideally in the Health / Medicine space

Qualification in a scientific field (preferred but flexible)

Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Excellent communication and organisational skills
