About the Role

We currently have an exciting full-time fixed term (12 months) opportunity to join our headspace team as a Youth Mental Health Worker at our Warrnambool location. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting young people through early intervention and youth-friendly models of care.

You will be responsible for delivering a range of evidence-based interventions that encourage early help-seeking and provide seamless access to health and wellbeing services across headspace’s four core platforms : mental health; physical and sexual health; alcohol and other drugs; and vocational and educational assistance.

As our Youth Mental Health Worker, you will work closely with young people and their families to build resilience and improve mental health outcomes. Through creative, client-focused approaches, you’ll provide psychological therapy, facilitate access to services, and promote early help-seeking behaviours. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people in the Portland community.
