Ameriprise Financial - Senior Staff Auditor - IT Risk

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and execute assigned portions of the Risk & Control Services plan, including audits and compliance activities (SOX / MAR / FDICIA).
• Present objectives, findings, and recommendations to various levels of management.
• Apply a structured approach to assess and enhance the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess their significance, and propose cost-effective recommendations.
• Collaborate with appropriate control groups in planning and execution of assigned work.
• Ensure work is completed within established timelines; proactively escalate risks and challenges as needed.
• Gather and analyze information to provide input into risk assessments, primarily in less complex areas.
