Company Description

PANHA is a safe, anonymous platform supporting individuals facing trauma, mental health challenges, and personal struggles. We provide four main services : an anonymous chat platform, human peer support buddies, an AI-driven buddy for 24 / 7 support, and counseling therapy sessions. Our services address issues such as breakup trauma, family disputes, academic pressure, and anxiety. We are driven by a community of 10,000 peers and a dedicated team of 100 changemakers. PANHA's vision is to decrease suicide cases and provide free support to individuals who have faced harassment or stalking.

Role Description

This is a volunteer on-site role located in New Delhi. Volunteers at PANHA will provide empathetic listening, peer support, and guidance to individuals facing emotional and mental health challenges. Daily tasks include engaging in anonymous chat sessions, providing support through the buddy system, assisting with counseling sessions, and helping to foster a compassionate and supportive community.

Qualifications

• Empathetic Listening and Peer Support skills
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sensitivity
• Experience in mental health support is a plus
• Commitment to helping others and creating a supportive environment
