Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, a strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB architectures, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, high-performing ServiceNow implementations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and design complex ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, or other modules as per client needs.
- Serve as the technical lead on ServiceNow projects, ensuring adherence to platform best practices and standards.
- Lead platform upgrades, migrations, and integrations with external systems (e.g., Azure AD, Jira, SCCM, SAP).
- Define and maintain a ServiceNow architecture blueprint and oversee overall platform governance.
- Build and enforce ServiceNow development standards, patterns, and reusable components.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to define requirements and technical solutions.
- Design, configure, and customize workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and optimize the platform.
- Guide and mentor junior developers and administrators on best practices.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, technical workshops, and proof-of-concepts when required.
Required Skills & Experience :
8+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in ServiceNow development and architecture.Strong hands-on experience across multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalog, HRSD, etc.).Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, scoped applications, and integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Servers).Proven experience with CMDB data model, CI class mapping, and integrations using Discovery or third-party tools.ServiceNow scripting expertise (JavaScript, Glide APIs, UI Policies, Business Rules, Flow Designer, Script Includes).Experience implementing ITOM (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping), SAM, or HAM is a strong plus.Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI / CD for ServiceNow deployments.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (any module) and / or Certified Application Developer preferred.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working in large enterprise environments or with MSPs / consulting firms.Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) and enterprise architecture.Exposure to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or Security Operations (SecOps) is a plus.ITIL v3 / v4 Certification is an added advantage.(ref : hirist.tech)
