Business Development Manager – Trade Credit (Corporate Sales)
Job Description :
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven professionals to join our Business Development team
focused on Trade Credit Insurance. The role involves identifying, soliciting, and acquiring large
corporate accounts for trade credit solutions. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in driving
strategic client acquisitions, fostering relationships with key decision-makers, and achieving
revenue targets through value-driven insurance advisory.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive acquisition of large and mid-size corporate clients for trade credit insurance
solutions.
Understand client requirements around credit, loans, working capital, and tradefinance, and tailor insurance offerings accordingly.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including CFOs, RiskManagers, and Treasurers.
Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate terms, and close high-value deals.Collaborate with internal teams and underwriters to structure solutions aligned withclient needs.
Maintain deep knowledge of trade credit products, industry trends, and competitorofferings.
Ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for acquired clients.Experience Required :
8–10 years of proven experience in corporate sales, preferably in the Banking orFinancial Services Industry
Exposure to trade credit, loans, working capital management, and trade finance isessential
Skills Required :
Strong corporate sales acumen with ability to handle long sales cycles and high-valuedeals
Experience in B2B client engagement, solution selling, and account managementExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to understand financial products and align them with insurance solutionsStrong network and understanding of the banking, credit, and financial ecosystemSkills Required
