Role Summary :
The Sr. Director, India Integrity, Risk and Compliance (IRC) will provide strategic leadership and planning to deliver a highly visible, proactive IRC program as part of R1's global Compliance & Risk Programs and framework. With a growing workforce in India, this leader will help to shape and execute the company's IRC roadmap with a commitment to, and demonstration of, the highest levels of integrity, collaboration, accountability and vigilance – R1 Compliance core principles. By applying a focused, thoughtful and proactive approach, this business leader and strategic partner will support and build on R1's global commitment to compliant and ethical business practices and processes.

This role will have pillar-specific coordination and direction provided by various global Compliance & Risk pillar leaders, including in the areas of :

▪ Solid Line Reporting to Country General Manager, as a member of India executive leadership team
▪ Dotted Line Reporting to EVP, Compliance & Risk, as a member of the global Compliance & Risk leadership team
Key Responsibilities
Role Overview
▪ Develop trusted relationships with India and U.S. management teams, as well as India business and functional leaders, in order to successfully deliver an effective compliance program that is focused on integrity, accountability, collaboration, and vigilance.
▪ Deliver routine communications, engagement, and outreach to R1 India associates and business partners
▪ Ensure core elements of an effective compliance and integrity program are implemented and are working as designed, as per the company's global standards and programming
▪ Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct
▪ Ensure that applicable compliance training and education is developed, implemented, and provided on a regular basis
▪ Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and develop / communicate corrective action plans for resolution of issues with guidance and support on how best to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
Integrity
▪ Oversee day-to-day country integrity & ethics program delivery, working closely with the global integrity & ethics program leader
▪ Ensure integrity & ethics education / training programming delivered to country workforce, and serve as country ambassador / leader for delivery of integrity & ethics education / training programming
▪ Support country investigations program, including bi-monthly, monthly and quarterly tracking and reporting of all country investigations
▪ Manage the internal India IRC committee (to be established), including reporting to relevant global company leadership and committees
Risk
▪ Oversee country risk assessment delivery, in coordination with country executive leadership, global risk and assurance leadership, country operational and functional leaders, and external vendor partner (as needed)
▪ Align country risk assessment findings to specific closed-loop action and remediation plans, in coordination and consultation with country executive leadership, global risk and assurance leadership, and country operational and functional leaders
▪ Develop country-specific risk roadmap in alignment with enterprise risk management framework, with standing quarterly IRC committee reporting
Compliance
▪ Oversee country-specific business and regulatory compliance requirements, in coordination and consultation with country executive leadership and internal legal and finance leaders
▪ Coordinate, as needed, with global healthcare compliance leadership on areas needing country-specific executive support or sponsorship
Administrative responsibilities
This leader will provide administrative management to the India IRC team members, in coordination and consultation with global Compliance & Risk pillar leaders, including as related to any :
▪ Timesheet entries and approval
▪ PTO approval
▪ Annual performance and compensation reviews
▪ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1. Graduate / Post-Graduate in any discipline with relevant experience of 10-15 years
2. Knowledge and experience in compliance, risk and / or ethics program management in MNC environment
3. Preferred experience in : a. Knowledge process outsourcing b. Captive MNC c. Process improvement
4. Risk Assurance / FIDS in MNC environment Success factors

1. Ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly expanding, highly matrixed global operations environment
2. Demonstrated success in reporting both in India based management and U.S. subject matter leaders within global company structure
3. Confident in representing a global program as a highly visible leader and interactive partner
4. Experience : 15-18 years of relevant experience at leadership level
