Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Presales Manager specialising in Production Planning & Quality Management (PPQM) within the SAP domain. The ideal candidate will engage early with prospects and customers, architect compelling PPQM solutions, support the sales lifecycle, and enable our team to win and deliver value in manufacturing, process or discrete environments.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with sales teams and potential clients to capture PPQM-focused opportunities (both new business and upsell) early in the sales cycle.

Conduct discovery sessions / workshops to understand manufacturing / quality challenges and articulate how PPQM solutions address them.

Develop and deliver high-quality solution proposals, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and value-proposition presentations rooted in SAP PP / QM capabilities.

Collaborate with technical, delivery and consulting teams to design tailored PPQM architectures (including integration with MES, EWM, MM, SD, IBP) and participate in RFI / RFP responses.

Maintain strong domain and product knowledge of SAP PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), PPDS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling) and S / 4HANA manufacturing stack.

Build and maintain a library of presales assets : templates, demo scripts, estimation models, case studies and industry-specific value calculators.

Provide market / competitive intelligence in the manufacturing / quality space, highlight differentiators and help position our solutions accordingly.

Support deal closure by responding to technical queries, leading stakeholder meetings, facilitating solution workshops, and building credibility with CXO-level prospects.

Work with delivery / consulting teams post-win to ensure smooth transition from presales to implementation and maintain client trust.

Track and report presales metrics, pipeline health, opportunity status, win / loss reasons and lessons learned.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business or related field.

Typically

5-8 years

(adjustable) of presales, solution consulting or business development experience in SAP PP / QM or equivalent manufacturing / quality solutions.

Strong functional and / or technical understanding of SAP PP (Discrete, Process or Repetitive manufacturing) and SAP QM (Inspection, Quality Certificates, Audits, In-process / Shop-floor Quality) modules. Reference : examples of such roles in the market.

Experience with the end-to-end presales cycle : opportunity qualification, requirements gathering, solution architecture, demo / poc creation, proposal preparation, commercial support.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage with CXO level and manufacturing / quality leadership.

Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to translate business problems into SAP PPQM solution flows.

Adept at collaborating across sales, consulting, delivery and marketing functions.

Willingness to travel regionally (if required) to meet clients, attend workshops and support sales campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience within SAP services or consulting firm.

Hands-on experience or exposure to SAP S / 4HANA PP / QM, PPDS, MES integration, Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing or regulated industries (e.g., automotive, life sciences, CPG).

Established network within the SAP manufacturing / quality ecosystem and reputable references.
