Job Title : IT Audit ManagerKey Focus : ITAC, ITGC, SOX (Indian Practice)Experience : 7–9 yearsOpen Locations : Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, GurgaonJob DescriptionThe IT Audit Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT audits with a core focus on IT Application Controls (ITAC), IT General Controls (ITGC), and SOX compliance for Indian operations. This leadership role will drive risk management, compliance, audit quality, and process improvements throughout the IT function.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and manage end-to-end IT audits across application controls, general controls, and SOX areas for the India practice.Identify and assess technology risks, evaluate controls’ design and effectiveness, and ensure compliance with Indian and international standards.Oversee SOX IT controls testing, walkthroughs, and control documentation, collaborating with business and technology teams.Present audit findings, actionable recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies to senior management.Drive and monitor remediation of IT audit issues and control gaps.Liaise with stakeholders to enhance IT governance, strengthen internal controls, and foster audit best practices.Mentor and lead a team of IT auditors; support their technical and professional development.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging IT risks, technologies, and regulatory changes; participate in process improvement initiatives.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CA, or equivalent) preferred.7–9 years’ hands-on IT audit experience—must include coverage of ITAC, ITGC, and SOX for Indian regulatory requirements.Deep understanding of IT governance frameworks (COBIT, NIST), IT risk management, and internal controls.Proven leadership in audit strategy, team management, and stakeholder communication.Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.Proficiency with IT audit tools, audit planning, and issue remediation.This position is open for Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, and Gurgaon. Candidates may express city preference; flexibility for the right candidate may be considered.
