Engineering Team Manager

We are seeking a talented Development Manager / Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Development Manager at Geoserve, you will be responsible for overseeing the development process of our maritime software solutions. You will work closely with our product management and engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software. Your role will involve coordinating development activities, managing team performance, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the development team to deliver software projects on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
• Ensure system uptime, reliability, and security compliance of the production environment.
• Monitor and improve development performance using KPI-based metrics.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to meet expected deliverables.
• Communicate progress and milestones to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience & Knowledge

10+ years of overall experience. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
