Job Title : - Risk Analyst - Two Wheeler Finance

Role Overview-
The Risk Analyst will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and mitigating credit and operational risks in the two-wheeler loan portfolio. The role involves analyzing borrower profiles, developing risk models, identifying early warning signals, and ensuring adherence to credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities-
1. Credit Risk Assessment-
- Evaluate creditworthiness of customers using financial data, credit bureau reports, and internal scoring models.
- Assess dealer and DSA risk profiles to ensure quality sourcing.
- Review high-value and exception-based loan proposals for approval recommendations.
2. Portfolio Monitoring & Analysis-
Track and analyze portfolio performance at product, region, and dealer levels.Identify delinquency trends, early warning signals, and high-risk segments.Prepare monthly MIS and risk reports for senior management.3. Policy & Process Adherence-
Ensure loan approvals comply with internal credit policy and regulatory norms.Suggest modifications to credit policy based on market changes and portfolio performance.Conduct periodic audits of credit files and underwriting processes.4. Risk Modelling & Data Analytics-
Develop and maintain risk scoring models for customer segmentation.Use statistical tools and data analytics to predict default probabilities and optimize approval rates.5. Fraud Detection & Prevention-
Identify and investigate suspicious transactions or applications.Liaise with operations, sales, and collections teams for risk mitigation measures.6. Cross-functional Collaboration-
Work closely with sales, operations, and collections teams to maintain asset quality.Provide risk-related insights to help in product design and process improvements.Qualifications & Experience-
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field.2-5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably in NBFC / banking sector.Prior exposure to two-wheeler or consumer finance portfolio preferred.Knowledge of credit bureaus (CIBIL, Equifax, etc.) and financial statement analysis.Familiarity with RBI / NBFC regulatory guidelines.Skills & Competencies-
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, SQL (added advantage).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Attention to detail and high ethical standards.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)-
