Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in ash disposal, trading, and logistics with government and private power plants.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ash management teams at thermal power plants.
- Develop a robust database of ash generators (power plants) and ash consumers (cement plants, brick manufacturers, construction companies, etc.).
- Generate leads for long-term ash evacuation contracts , especially from NTPC, state power plants, and private thermal plants .
Tendering & Proposal Management
Participate in ash disposal and transportation tenders : EOI, RFP, RFQ , and techno-commercial bid submissions.Prepare commercial proposals, cost estimations, and feasibility reports based on logistics models.Collaborate with legal, technical, and operations teams for timely and compliant bid submissions.Logistics & Operational Coordination
Plan and coordinate ash evacuation logistics , including road / rail transport, unloading, and storage.Liaise with logistics partners, transporters, and bulk material handlers for efficient ash movement.Address on-ground issues at power plants and customer sites to ensure smooth contract execution.Market Intelligence & Strategy
Monitor market trends, pricing, policy changes (MOEF, CPCB, CEA), and sustainability targets.Provide regular updates on business pipeline, competitor activity, and operational challenges .Identify innovative solutions and partnerships to enhance ash management capabilities.Skills Required
