Business Manager – Sales & Business Development (Locomotive)
Location : Delhi
Industry : Industrial Automation, Electrical & Mechanical parts manufacturing companies (cable, wire, pipe, conduit, nut bolt, seals, connectors, bearings, fasteners pneumatic etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with key rolling stock manufacturers.
- Manage and develop business with metro railway corporations across India.
- Collaborate with consultants and EPC contractors to influence specifications and drive solution-based sales.
- Leverage strong specification-based selling skills to win projects with Railways and railway EPCs.
- Identify and convert opportunities and leads into successful sales bookings.
- Deliver persuasive, value-driven presentations and proposals aligned with client needs.
- Maintain accurate sales records and develop detailed sales reports.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by aligning internal teams with project goals and timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred).8-12 years of relevant sales and business development experience in the railway or locomotive sector.Strong existing network within the railway ecosystem including OEMs, EPCs, and government rail entities.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple stakeholders across projects.Skills Required
