We are hiring for SCM Indirect Sourcing.

Title : Engineer / Sr. engineer

Job Location : Hosur

Industry Preferred : EMS / Automobile

Exp Level : 2 - 6

Responsibilities

Lead sourcing activities for indirect materials, including production and process consumables, MRO items, and facility-related services.

Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, and supply continuity.

Conduct supplier evaluations, RFQs / RFPs, and commercial negotiations to secure favourable terms.

Ensure compliance with Incoterms, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and finance to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies.

Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure service levels and continuous improvement.

Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.

Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree / Supply Chain Management, or related field.

5+ years of experience in indirect sourcing within the EMS or manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of production / process consumables and general sourcing processes.

Proficiency in Incoterms, contract management, and commercial negotiation techniques.

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).

Preferred Skills

Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.

Experience working in a global sourcing environment.

Familiarity with sustainability and supplier risk management practices.
