About the Role :

Sterling Oil & Gas, Nigerias 3rd largest Oil Producer with 26,000 Nationals & 3,500 Indian Expats , is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Head of Accounts to lead multi-entity financial operations, ensure robust compliance, and drive financial excellence across our Oil & Gas value chain.

This is a key leadership role for an experienced finance professional with deep expertise in accounting, reporting, taxation, and internal controls within Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery / Power / Metals & Mining / EPC environments.

Key Accounting & Reporting :

• Lead end-to-end accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Intercompany).
• Ensure accurate monthly / quarterly / year-end closing & financial statements (IFRS / GAAP).
• Drive MIS reporting, variance analysis, and management dashboards.
• Strengthen accuracy, timeliness, and data integrity.
