Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled BEV Systems Integration Engineer to lead and support the integration of complex systems within our Battery Electric Vehicle platforms. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of electrical, mechanical, and software systems, with a focus on performance, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the integration of vehicle systems including battery packs, power electronics, electric drive units, thermal systems, and control software.
- Develop and manage system-level requirements and interface specifications.
- Coordinate with design, validation, and manufacturing teams to ensure system compatibility and performance.
- Support vehicle-level testing and validation, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 26262, UNECE R100).
- Manage system integration timelines and deliverables across multiple teams.
- Utilize tools such as CANalyzer, MATLAB / Simulink, and vehicle simulation platforms for analysis and validation.
- Document integration processes and maintain traceability of requirements and changes.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.3+ years of experience in automotive systems integration, preferably in BEV or hybrid vehicles.Strong understanding of vehicle electrical architecture, high-voltage systems, and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).Experience with system modelling and simulation tools.Familiarity with functional safety and cybersecurity standards.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.Preferred Skills :
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).Knowledge of thermal management systems for EVs.Hands-on experience with vehicle testing and diagnostics.Experience working in Agile development environments.
